The Gender Index & Kakawa Chocolates

Jin Sun Kim is the founder and head chocolatier of Kakawa Chocolates, the artisan chocolate house she established in Sydney in 2009. Trained at Le Cordon Bleu and shaped by experience in some of Sydney's finest dining kitchens, she further honed her craft in London before returning to Australia to build Kakawa from the ground up. Jin Sun personally develops every recipe and collection. Her work has earned collaborations with household names and international luxury brands, multiple industry awards, and an ongoing role as a judge in the Professional Bakery category at the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
