Jo Tarnawsky is a strategic adviser, international speaker and the founder of This is Leadership. Following a 25-year career as an Australian diplomat and senior government executive, Jo established her own business, drawing on her experience at the highest levels of government to advise leaders, organisations and changemakers on consequential decisions and strategy. As a female founder, Jo brings a unique perspective spanning government, business and the not-for-profit sector. She serves on the Advisory Board of Future Females Australia, is an active member of Women on Boards and Forbes Women, and is passionate about supporting women to lead, build and thrive. Jo is known for her practical insights into leadership, power and what it takes to turn purpose into impact. She is the MC for the national launch and has played a strategic advisory role in bringing the launch to life as The Gender Index Australia builds a stronger evidence base for understanding and supporting female-led businesses across Australia.
